Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Bronx will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in New York usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Bronx peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. I can’t say enough good things about this pastry shop. Seem so many times on Television 📺. Jerome “Gino” was such a great host. Treating everyone like family. Giovanna was a delight as well. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended. We will definitely be going back.

After trying several pastry shops in the area, I can honestly say that Gino's Pastry Shop was my favorite by far. Every pastry we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. You can really tell they care about quality and tradition. The staff was friendly, the service was excellent, and everything tasted authentic. If you're visiting New York and want an amazing pastry experience, don't waste your time hopping from place to place—Gino's is the one to visit. I can't wait to come back!

I visit Gino's pastry often for their cannoli's as they are my absolute favorite. The service at this bakery is always pleasant. I've enlisted the bakery to make a cake for my husband's 30th birthday, my mother's 50th birthday and my baby shower. Each time the guests love the taste of the cake and the execution of my vision was always spot on. Every time I come here to place a special order I am here for a couple of hours to listen to all the stories the owners love to share.

After dinner in Little Italy, my wife and I stopped by Gino’s to cap off a great day at Yankee Stadium. We grabbed some cappuccinos and pastries, including our absolute favorite: the doughnut with cannoli filling. If you’ve never had one, you have to try it!
